My Trip will be taking me to 7 countries in three weeks,it will be Copenhagen Denmark, Oslo Norway,Stockholm Sweden,Helsinki Finnland, and then I will cross the Baltic see to Visit Tallin Estonia,Riga Latvia,And finally Vilnius Lithuania.

COPENHAGEN DENMARK

On June 16 2025 I Flew from Toronto,connecting in Frankfurt and on to Copenhagen Denmark,total travel time 13.5 hours with stopovers.

I landed in Copenhagen on June 17, took a Taxi from the Airport and went directly to my Hotel, which was near the Train Station and in the Old Town of the City, near Tivoli Amusement Park.

My Hotel Room was not that nice, it was very small, and confining, I guess I made a mistake booking it, but unfortunately I could not change the room or even go to another Hotel,because unknowing to me there was a huge Rock Concert going on that same weekend and everything, I mean everything was booked out,and over priced.

I found Copenhagen very expensive, Hotel rooms where double priced.

Anyways I made the best of it, this is the fun of Travel.

I really liked the old buildings in Copenhagen, and there where many, I also took a canal cruise around the area.

KOPENHAGEN DÄNEMARK

Meine Reise hat mich zu Sieben Länder gebracht, inerhalb drei wochen.

Die Städte und Länder waren,

Kopenhagen Dänemark, Oslo Norwegen, Stockholm Schweden,Helsinki Finnland, und dann über der Ostsee nach Tallin Estland, Riga Lettland,und Vilnius Litauen.

Am 16.6 bin ich von Toronto nach Frankfurt und in Kopenhagen gelandet.

Das waren ungefähr 13.5 Stunden unterwegs,

Bin dann a. 17.6 in Kopenhagen Hagen gelandet, hab am Flughafen ein Taxi genommen, und dann direkt zum mein Hotel,das Hotel war nicht weit vom Bahnhof und in der Altstadt, und sehr nahe zur den vergnügungspark Tivoli.

Ich war eigentlich enttäuscht in mein Hotel,mein Zimmer war sehr klein und nicht freundlich, ich hab Hotel gebucht aber wirklich ein großes Fehler gemacht,aber leider konnte ich das nicht ändern, alles im Hotel und in der Stadt war voll ausgebucht, am diesen Wochenende wo ich da war hatten sie ein sehr grosses

COPENHAGEN KOPENHAGEN

I visited many places in Copenhagen, I was able to take a Tour Bus to see the City, as well I took a River Tour which was very interesting, these are scenes of the City Hall Monuments.

Ich habe viele Plätze in Kopenhagen besucht, mit Bus und Boot bin ich in der Stadt herum gekommen, es war sehr interessant, hier Bilder vom Rathaus, und Denkmäler.

Nyhavn

While in Copenhahen I visited the Nyhavn, this area is the Waterfront of Copenhagen, and it has some very colourful Buildings,on the river cruise i encountered many Bridges.

In den Stadtteil von Kopenhagen Nyhavn, am wasser sind ser farbige Gebäude,während der Flusskreutzfahrt,begegnete ich viele Brücken.

Freetown Christiania

In this part of the City called Freetown Christiania, which used to be old Army Barracks, which where empty for many, years until some Dope Smoking Hippies took over the Town in the seventies, this Town is now self Governing within Copenhahen,it has a population of about 3000 people of those are 1000 children living within that area.

In diesen Teil von der Stadt ist eine Stadt inerhalb Kopenhagen, das heißt Freetown (Freistadt) Christiania.

Das war einmal Kasernen, und die waren alle lähr für viele Jahre, bis sämtliche kifene Hippies das in den Siebzigern übernommen haben, diese Stadt ist jetzt selbsverwalted,inerhalb Kopenhagen, es hat eine Bevölkerung von 3000, und,1000 davon sind Kinder.

Tivoli

Tivoli the Amusement Park was 5 minutes from my Hotel, it was,so close i had to visit it,if I was younger Iwould have loved the rides and all the things that the Park had to offer, but unfortunately I only watched.

Tivoli der Vergnügungspark war nur fünf Minuten von mein Hotel, it war so nahe das ich unbedingt diesen Park besuchen musste.Wäre ich jünger hätte ich bestimmt auf die Fahrten gegangen, aber leider hab ich nur zu geschaut.

I really enjoyed the food in Copenhagen,I liked the openfaced sandwiches, as,well as the seafood, and the sausage booths ,that where everywhere.

I actually met up with Jette and,Helmut from Kitchener, that where on vacation in Copenhagen, Jette is Dänisch and has family there, that she visited, and both where on their way back to Canada.

ESSEN

Das Essen in Kopenhagen war sehr fein, ich Magnesium die offenen belegte Brötchen, und das viele Fisch und auch die wüssten Imbiss, die waren ja überall.

Werdend mein Aufenthalt in Kopenhagen treffte ich Bekannte von Kitchener, Jette und Helmut, Jette ist Dänisch und sie hat Geschwister in Dänemark,und die waren sie dort besuchen, den nächsten Tag sind,sie zurück nach Kanada geflogen.

On June 20 until June 22 i was in the beatiful city of, Oslo Norway is a facinating City, the weather was just perfect at 23 degrees, this is where the days a very long, it was light out until 11:30 pm at night, and sun up was around 4am.

My Hotel was very nice overlooking the Fjords, I was able to go by Boat in this Antique Boat and view the city.

View from my Hotel room at 11:30 pm, as well as The Opera House,the Palast of King Herald and Queen Sonja of Norway, Akershus Fortress,as,well as the Kon Tiki Statue.

OSLO NORWEGEN

Am 20.6 bin ich in der schönen stadt Oslo gelandet, es ist eine faszinierend stadt.Das wetter war ein perfektes 23 grad,und der tag war lang,es war hell bis 23:30 uhr, und Sonnen auf ungefähr 04:00 Uhr.

Mein Hotel war sehr schön, es hat über die Fjorden geschaut, ich hab eine Stadt Rundreise auf die Fjorden mit diesen alten Schiff gemacht, man konnte das Operetten Haus sehen, so wie den Palast vom König Harald und Königin Sonja aus Norwegen,Akershus Festung,und die Kon Tiki Statue.

STOCKHOLM SWEDEN

June 22, I landed in Stockholm, I was in Stockholm for three days.

Stockholm is a City of about 900 thousand people, it is a City built on 14 Islands,it is known as the Venice of the North.

The City started on 4 small Islands on an area called Gamla Stan, Stockholm is on the shores of the Baltic Sea.

These pictures show the Royal Palace,some great Architecture, the narrow streets, as well as the shore line.

STOCKHOLM SCHWEDEN

Am 22.6 bin ich in Stockholm angekommen, ich war dort 3 Tage.

Stockholm ist eine Stadt mit 900 einwohner, die Stadt ist auf 4 Inseln gebaut, es ist Bekannt das norden Venezia.

Die Stadt murder gebaut auf 4 Inseln in ein Teil von der Stadt das heißt Gamla Stan. Stockholm Ist an die Küste der Ostsee.

Die Bilder zeigen den Königlicher Palast, fantastische Architektur, und die Ostsee Küste.

VASA

This city has many Museums, the one that I visited was called the Vasa Museum.

The Vasa is a Swedish War Ship built between 1626 and 1628,on her Maiden Voyage on August 10 1628,she sank at just 1300 metres from shore.

Diese Stadt hat viele Museums, ich hab einen davon besucht, der heißt Vasa.

Vasa ist ein Schwedisches Kriegsschiff, der wurde im jahre swichen 1626 und 1628 gebaut, und auf ihrer Jungfernfahrt, am 10.8 1628 , ist sie gesunken, und war nur 1300 Meter vom Ufer.

Stockholm has many Restaurants, especially old cave like.

I was fortunate to find one of those in the Old Town of the City.

I have the say that the Food was outstanding, and really all the food that I had on my trip was amazing, I really love Seafood, and couldn't get enough.

Stockholm hat viele Restaurant, hauptsächlich in der Altstadt.

Eine davon hat ich glücklicherweise besucht, in der Altstadt.

Ich muss sagen das dass Essen war sehr lecker, eigentlich alles essen das ich auf meiner reise hatte war fantastisch, überhaupt die Vielfalt der Fische, ich konnte nich genug bekommen.

Helsinki, the Capital of Finnland is not a very large city, only about a half million population,on multiple small Islands,it is an exciting City with many Bridges and only 80 km across the Baltic Sea and Tallin Estonia.

Helsinki die Hauptstadt von Finnland ist nicht sehr grosses, nur ungefähr fünf hundert tausend Einwohner,sn sämtliche kleinen Inseln,es ist eine aufregende Stadt, mit vielen Brücken und nur 80 km über der Ostsee con Tallin Estland.

I think that I enjoyed Helsinki the most, because, I found this City full of Life,people where smiling and laughing easily, very friendly to tourists,I found them very accommodating towards really catering to tourism.

Ich denke das ich hab Helsinki am liebsten genossen,weil diese Stadt voller Leben ist, die Leute lächeln, lachen und sind sehr freundlich zu Touristen.

Ich finde das die sind entgegenkommen gegenüber Touristen.

FARMERS MARKET

Helsinki has one of the best Farmers Markets in Scandinavia.

The Market Building is from 1889, and has an abundance of Fish, like smokes graflox and cooked Salmon as well as a lots of Herring, Smelts,

Shrimp and Caviar.

BAUERN MARKT

Helsinki hat einen von den besten Märkte in Scandinavian.

Das Markt Gebäude ist von jahre 1889,und hat guten Sortiment von Fisch, sowie räucher , gepeitzden und gekochten Lachs.

Und auch Herringe,stinte,Garnelen und kaviar.

For the meat I saw mostly Game, like Elk,Deer or Bear Pate.

Die Fleich sortiment ist meistens Wildfleisch,sowie Elch,Hirsch und Bär Pate.

Outside of the Building the Farmers brought their Fruits and Vegetables that they grow, at the same time outside you had the small kiosks where you could taste and eat the local seafood.

As well as Entertainment.

Draußen vom Gebäude brachzen die Bauern ihre eigene früchte, und gemüse, und auch draußen sind kleine Imbiss,woo man kosten und essen die eigene Meeresfrüchte.

Und auch Unterhaltung.

TALLIN ESTONIA

June 28 I crossed the Baltic Channel from Helsinki to Tallin by Boat, it took about 2 and a half hours, and it was a peasant Boat Trip.

Am 28.6 bin ich mit den Schiff über den OstSee von Helsinki nach Tallin Estland, es hat ungefähr zweiund einhalb stunden genommen, as war eine angenehme reise.

When I arrived at Tallin, I stayed at a very old but renovated Hotel called Telegraph, that was Built in 1878,it was right in the Old Town.

Wo ich in Tallin angekommen bin, bin ich direkt zum mein Hotel, dieses Hotel war in 1878 gebaut aber alles innen war neu umgebaut, es war direkt in der Altstadt, hier paar bilder.

I was able to walk anywhere within the Old Town, and see may Old Buildings like the Old City Hall in the Square,

Castle Toompea, the Russian Orthodox Church,the Original Protestant Church,which was a Catholic Church, and a partially walled City.

As well as some narrow streets.

Ich hatte glück das ich von mein Hotel überall in der Altstadt laufen konnte, diese alten Gebäude waren sehr interessant zum sehen , so wie das alte Rathaus in der Stadtplatz, das Schloss Toompea, die Russische Orthodox Kirche,die Originale Protestant Kirche, wo früher eine Katholiche war, und auch die Ummauerte Stadt, und die alten engen stressen.

There was really good food in Tallin, as well as some very unusual Restaurants.

Das Essen in Tallin war sehr gut, und überhaupt sehr ungewöhnlichen Restaurants.

Riga ist a very old City and the Capital of Latvia.

I found that there still is a Russian influence in the Baltic States.

Riga is a very nice old City, here you find a cellist playing in front of the City Hall, in the Town Square.

There are also many Churches in Riga.

Riga ist eine sehr alte Stadt und die Hauptstadt von Lettland

Ich finde das diese Stadten noch Russische influence haben.

Riga ist eine sehr schöne alte Stadt, hier findest du noch Musikanten sowie eine Cellistin vor den Rathaus spielen.

Hier sind auch viele Kirchen.

My last stop on this exciting three week trip, between the four Scandinavian Countries as well as the three Baltic Countries has come to an end in Vilnius Lithuania, after these three days that I stayed here I flew from Vilnius to Frankfurt onward to Toronto .

This is also a very old City, and my Hotel PAKAI was amazing, it was built in 1677, but totally renovated.

I have to tell a story that happened to me when I arrived in Vilnius by Air, and caught a Taxi, I got to the Hotel, and as I checked in I realized that I left my cell phone in the Cab, well as soon as I realized this I turned around and saw the Taxi had left, needless to say, my phone was gone, which every body knows we live by this phone, our whole live is on this phone.

So I mentioned this to the Hotel Manager, she said, do you know the name of the Taxi Company, I said I dont because I paid cash and didnt take a receipt, then she said just call your number and Iam sure the Driver would hear it, well, as I dialed I realized that not only did I left the phone in the cab, I also turned it on mute, I dont know why I did this.

So for sure I accepted the fact that my phone is gone.

I decided not to stress over this because there is nothing I could do about it, and I was at my last destination and just needed to catch the plane in three day.

But there is a good news story here.

the Hotel manager said that the outside Hotel cameras picked up the licence number of the Taxi, and that they would call the police to track down the Taxi.

In my mind I had given up, well within about a half hour I get a knock on my door, it was the Hotel manager with my phone in her hand, she said that the Police tracked down the Taxi Driver and pulled him over and got the phone, she also said that the Driver was not Happy, but gave the phone to the Police.

We all know this would never happen in Canada.

VILNIUS LITAUEN

Mein letzter Platz auf diese sehr schöne drei wochen reisen durch vier Scandinavian und auch die drei Baltikum Länder, bringt mich nach Vilnius Litauen, von hier fliege ich nach drei Tagen von Vilnius nach Frankfurt und direkt nach Toronto.

Das ist eine sehr alte Stadt, und mein Hotel PAKAI war ausgezeichnet und erbaut in 1677, alles innen war neu.

Ich muss Eine Story erzählen was mir hier passiert ist.

Ich bin in Vilnius mit Flug gelandet, und hab sofort ein Taxi bestellt, wo ich im Hotel ankam, hab ich gemerkt das ich mein Handy im Taxi vergessen hab, ich drehte mich um und das Taxi war gerade weggefahren. Schade, weil wir alle am unser Handy hängen, und unser ganzes Leben dort drinnen ist.

Wo ich dann im Hotel einchekte habe ich den Hotel Manager erzählt was passiert ist.

Sie sagte, kennst du den name vom Taxi, ich sagte nein weil ich Bar bezahlt hab, dann sagte sie, ruf deine nummer an und der Fahrer wird das bestimmt hören, aber weil ich die nummer wählte, hab ich erinnert das ich den Handy auf stumm getan hab,ich weiss nicht warum ich das gemacht hab, aber jetzt war ich sicher das mein Handy für immer weg war.

Und was kann ich machen, ich dachte mach dir kein Stress, du kannst nichst machen.

Dieses war der letzter Platz auf meiner reise, und ich brauchte nur das Handy für mein flug in drei tage.

Aber jetzt habe ich gute Nachricht bekommen, die Hotel mangerin sagte das die außen Kameras haben den Taxi seine Auto nummer aufgenommen, und die haben die Polizei angerufen.

Also ich dachte jetzt das Handy ist weg,aber inerhalb eine halbe Stunde

bekom ich ein klopfen an meiner Tür.Die Hotel Managerin stand vor meiner Tür mit mein Handy, ich konnte das nicht glauben. Sie sagte das die Polizei hat den Taxi Fahrer gefunden, und er hatte mein Handy im Auto. Sie sagte das der Fahrer sauer war weil er wußte nicht direkt warum die Polizei ihm an gehalten hat, aber er übergab denen dann mein Handy.

So etwas könnte nie in Kanada passieren, das die Polizei für ein Handy jemanden an gehalten hat.
