Spain-Malaga and Mallorca

FEBRUARY 15 to MARCH 3 2025

HOLA

My Spain trip started on February 15 2025, I was flying Business Class with Air Canada to Munich and then on to Malaga Spain.

But this particular day, there was a Delta Airplane crash at Toronto Pearson Airport, it was a very windy day and the Airplane landed upside down on the tarmac, surprisingly everybody on board was alive.

This happened around 2:30 pm in the afternoon, I arrived shortly after that to the Airport, and when I arrived , everything was shut down, no Planes where allowed to Land or Take off, as well as The Airport was shut down, and locked down for at least three hours.

Finally at about 5pm security opened up, and I was allowed to go to Air Canada Signature Lounge.

My flight was supposed to take off at 9:45pm but delayed and finally did take off after 11:00pm, needless to say when I arrived at Munich Airport at 12:30 pm in the afternoon my connecting flight had left.

So they where going to have me fly to Paris and then on to Malaga that would mean that I would have a layover of 6 hours until my next flight, but I was able to have them find a flight for me to fly to Madrid and then on to Malaga, with only a 2½ hours layover, much better, and I did finally arrived in Malaga

Mein Spanischer Urlaub hat am 15 Februar 2025,begonnen ich hatte Business Classe mit Air Canada nach München und dann nach Malaga Spanien.

Am diesen Tag war ein Unfall mit einen Delta Air in Toronto Pearson Flughafen, es war ein sehr windiger Tag und das Flugzeug landede verkehrt herum am Asphalt, überraschender Weise alle am Bord waren am Leben.

Das war so ungefähr um 14:30 Uhr passiert,ich kam so kürzlich nach der uhrzeit am Flughafen an, und wo ich ankam war alles am Flughafen verschlossen, Flüge konnten nicht landen oder abfliegen.

Der Flughafen war so ungefähr 3 Stunden gesperrt.

So dann gegen 17 Uhr öffnete die Sicherheitskontrolle.und dann waren wir erlaubt zur Air Canada Signature Lounge gehen.

Mein Flug sollte um 21:45 Uhr abfliegen aber wir hatten zwei stunden Verspätung und eventuell konnten wir dann um 23:00 Uhr abfliegen.

Als ich dann den nächsten Tag in München ankam, war mein Anschluss flug nach Malaga schon vorbei.

So wollten sie mich erst nach Paris fliegen mit Anschluss nach Malaga dass meinte das ich dann noch 6 Stunden am Flughafen warten musste bis mein nächster Flug, und dann haben sie doch ein Flug für mich gefunden, erst nach Madrid mit Anschluss nach Malaga,mit nur 2½ Stunden Aufenthalt.

Und das war viel besser eventuell als landede ich in Malaga.

MALAGA

While in Malaga, I decided to do the Tourist thing.

Malaga is one of the oldest Cities in Europe and a very exciting City, I have flown into Malaga many times before but never stayed within the City.

I booked a Hotel in the Old City, so I could walk almost everywhere.

I stayed in Malaga for 6 nights, and I started the tourist thing almost immediately.

First couple of days I visited the Fortress of ALCAZABRA and Castle GIBRALFARO, you can see the Arab influence of this Fortress throughout the grounds, and in the distance is the Castle GIBRALFARO, they are not connected but you can actually walk from one to the other.

MALAGA

Heute in Malaga bin ich ein Tourist, Malaga ist eines von die älteste Städte in Europa, und sehr aufregend.

Öfters war ich schon mit den Flug nach Malaga geflogen, aber nie war ich in der Stadt geblieben, aber dieses mal hab ich überlegt in der Alt Stadt zu bleiben, ich hatte ein Hotel in der Altstadt gebucht, und konnte wenigstens überall zufuss laufen, ich war 6 take in Malaga.

Die ersten zwei Tage hab ich did Festung ALCAZABRA und das Schloss GIBRALFARO besucht, mann kann die Arabische beeinflussen an diese Gebäude und gelände sehen,in der Ferne sieht man das Schloss GIBRALFARO, die sind nicht verbunden aber man kann von einem zum andern laufen.

CITY TOUR

I did a Hop on Hop off City Tour, and took some very interesting pictures of Malaga City, the Harbourfront some Historic Buildings as well as Markets.

Ich bin auf diesen Hop on Hop off Bus Stadt Rundfahrt durch der Stadt gefahren, und habe sehr interessante Bilder von Malaga, aufgenommen, zum Beispiel, Hafenfront, Historische Gebäude und Märkte.

Continuing my tour throughout Malaga City, I ventured to the PICASSO Museum, Pablo Picasso was born in Malaga, and I toured his Birthhome as well as The Museum, which was amazing, I captured many of his paintings and sculptures at the Museum.

Im weiteren Verlauf meiner Tour durch Malaga, ich wagte mich ins PICASSO Museum,Pablo Picasso war in Malaga geboren, und ich besuchte auch sein Geburtzhaus und sein Museum, es war unglaublich, ich habe viele von seiner Gemälde und seiner Skulpturen eingefangen im Museum.

Near my Hotel in the Old part of Malaga City stood this large Cathedral called, SANTA IGLESIA CATREDRAL DE LA ENCARNACION DE MALAGA.

It was amazing, the construction was amazing as well as the interior of this Church was,

Nahe zu mein Hotel in der Altstadt von Malaga stand dieses grosses massives KATHREDALE Gebäude mit Namen,SANTA IGLESIA CATREDRAL DE LA ENCARNACION DE MALAGA. Dieses Gebäude war wirklich gross,der Bau war toll und auch das innere von dieser Kirche.

My last day in Malaga before I left on a flight to PALMA DE MALLORCA the next day, was a surprise, right in front of my Hotel was a parade happening, it was Carneval, I forgot all about it but I took it all in, it was truly amazing.

Mein letzter Tag in Malaga bevor ich am nächsten Tag nach PALMA DE MALLORCA geflogen bin, war eine Überraschung für mich, es war ja Karneval Zeit und eine grosse parade vor meinen Hotel, ich hab das überhaupt vergessen, aber es war einmalig.

I finally made it to this fantastic Island in the Mediterranean Sea, I always wanted to visit this famous island but never had the opportunity, well here I am, I stayed in this century old Luxury Hotel in the city,called Concepcio by Nobis.

Endlich bin ich hier auf dieser fantastische Insel im Mittelmeer gelandet, ich wollte schon immer hier sein, aber hab es nicht bis jetzt geschafft. Ich war in dieses alte Luxushotel mit Namen Concepcio bei Nobis.

SÓLLER and PORT de SÓLLER

After my first day in Palma, I took this trip to Sóller as well as Port de Sóller, a small village northvwest of Palma, this City is unusual because I travelled on a hundred year old Train, that was the highlight.

Port de Sóller is a resort town unfortunately the weather was not favorable, but I still wanted to see this town.

Ich mein ersten Tag in Palma, hab ich diese fahrt nach Sóller und auch Port de Sóller genommen, diese kleinen Städte nordwest von Palma, war interessant weil ich mit einen hundert jahre alten Zug dort hinkam, das war das Highlight.

Port de Sóller ist ein Ferienort, aber das Wetter war nicht so schön, aber ich wollte dies Stadt trotzdem sehen.

VALLDEMOSSA and CHOPIN

When I was in Sóller, I took a Bus to the city of Valldemossa, the reason that I visited this city was because this is where the Famous Polish Composer Chopin, althou living in Paris spend one Winter in Valldemossa Mallorca from December 20 1838 until February 13 1839, with his Lover George Sand.

George Sand was a French Novelist and Journalist and a Pen name for Amantine Lucille Aurore Dupin de la Francueil.

Chopin was born outside of Warsa Poland on March 1, 1810 and died in 1849, he was 39 years old.

VALLDEMOSSA und CHOPIN

Wo ich in Sóller war hab ich ein Seiten sprung mit den Bus nach Valldemossa gemacht, dort hat der Berühmte Polnische Komponist Chopin, obwohl er in Paris gewohnt hat, einen Winter von 20 Dezember 1838 bis 13 Februar 1839 mit seine geliebte, Georg Sand gewohnt hat.

Georg Sand war eine Französische Romanautour und journalistin und der Pseudonym für Amantine Lucille Aurore Dupin de la Francueil.

Chopin war in ein kleinen Dorf nicht weit von Warschau am 1,3,1810 geboren und am 1849 gestorben er war 39 Jahre alt.

PALMA CITY

Finally back in Palma and my Hotel this Hotel in Palma was easily within walking distance within the City of Palma.

I loved Palma, there was much to do, many Restaurants and places to visit, there is always something happening.

Endlich wieder in Palma und mein Hotel gelandet.

Palma ist eine Stadt wo man leicht zufuss überall laufen kann, da ist ziemlich viel zu tun und die haben viel Restaurants und Plätze zum besuchen

Da ist immer was Los.

CARNEVAL ,and of course it was Carneval Seasons and Spaniers know how to celebrate, from open food stalls , to a large pan of Paella the national dish of Spain.

KARNEVAL,die Spanier wissen wie zu feiern, von offene Ess stände, und auch eine grosse Pfanne Paella, das National essen der Spanier.

CATHEDRAL PALMA

I visited this Cathedral called

CATEREDAL-BASILLICA de SANTA MARIA de Mallorca,this Cathedral is massive and was built over centuries. The site was consecrated in the year 1230

KATETHRALE

Ich habe diese KATHREDALE in Palma besucht,sie hieß CATEREDAL-BASILICA de SANTA MARIA de Mallorca, diese KATETHRALE is riesig, und würde über Jahunderte hinweg gebaut.

Der Ort wurde geweiht im jahre 1230.

I really enjoyed my 12 days in Malaga and Palma de Mallorca, the people are friendly the food was fantastic and the Tourist sites where excellent.

Now ready for my next trip to MEXICO.

Ich hab diese 12 Tage in Malaga und Palma de Mallorca wirklich genossen,

Die freundlichen Leute, das fantastische Essen und auch die exzellente Touristen Aussicht.

Jetzt bereit ich mich für meine Nächste reise nach MEXIKO.
