My Trip to South Africa Zambia and Zimbabwe.

January of this year 2025 I have been on an African Safari in South Africa, as well as The Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe, and this is what I would like to start writing about.

On January 3 2025, I flew Business Class with Air Canada to Munich Germany this was an 8 hour red eye flight, when I arrived to Munich, early January 4th I had a 9 hour layover, so I was able to vist my friend Friedl, we had a nice Lunch and After the visit I took a Taxi back to the Airport and was bound on a Lufthansa Air 11 hour red eye flight to Cape Town.

Meine Reise nach Südafrika,Sambia,und Simbabwe

Im Januar dieses Jahres 2025 war ich auf einer Africa-Safari in Südafrika,sowie bei den Viktoriafällen in Simbabwe und hierüber möchte ich anfangen zu schreiben.

Am 3.Januar 2025 flog ich Businessclasse mit Air Canada nach München Deutschland. Das war ein 8-ständiger Nachtflug

Als ich am 4 Januar früh in München ankam,hatte ich ein 9-stündigen Aufenthalt, so das ich meine Freundin Friedl besuchen konnte.Wir aßen ein schönes mittagessen,dass sie vorbereitet hat,nach den Besuch nahm ich ein Taxi zurück zum Flughafen und bestieg einen 11-stündigen Nachtflug mit Lufthansa Air nach Kapstadt.

The whole tour in Africa was looked after by African Travel.

I arrived in Cape Town South Africa early January 5th 2025 and was greeted by a Thomson tour guide, they took me right to the Queen Victoria Hotel near the Waterfront, this was a 5 plus star Hotel,

Die gesampte Afrika-Tour wurde von Afrika Travel betreut. Ich kam am frühen 5. Januar 2025 in Kapstadt Südafrika an und wurde von einem Thomson-Reiseleiter begrüst.

Sie brachten mich direkt zum Queen Victoria Hotel,in der nähe der Uferpromenade,das Hotel war ein 5-Sterne-Plus -Hotel.

I was in Cape Town for 4 nights, I really enjoyed Cape Town and had some good conversation with the locals.

While in Cape Town,I was fortunate to see a live performance of local entertainment at the Gold Restaurant, the entertainment was incredible to say the least, definitely worth it.

Ich war für 4 Tage in Kapstadt. Mir hat Kapstadt sehr gut gefallen und ich habe,mich gut mit den Einheimischen unterhalten.Warend meines Aufenthalts in Kapstadt hatte ich Glück, eine Live-Aufführung lokaler Unterhaltung im Golds Restaurant zu sehen.Die Unterhaltung war gelinde gesagt.unglaublich und definitiv die Mühe wert.

Continuing my private tour of Cape Town and part of Southern Africa,I did

tour to the most Southern point of South Africa, as well as visiting Simons Town which is near Boulder Beach.

Boulder Beach has the largest Penguin Colony.

Ich setze meine privat tour durch Kapstadt und einen Teil Südafrika fort und machte eine Tour zum südlichsten Punkt Afrikas,und besuchte auch Simons Town in der Nähe von Boulder Beach. Boulder Beach hat eine große Pinguinkolonie .

On January 9th I was on a Air Link flight to Hoedspruit South Africa, which was very close to where the

Kapama Private Safari Reserve was,

Am 9.Januar war ich auf einem Airlink -Flug nach Hoedspruit in Südafrika, ganz in der Nähe des privaten Safarireservats Kapama.

I stayed there for 4 nights, the Lodge where I stayed was amazing, it was a beautiful building with its own swimming pool, this was where the trip of a lifetime started, the reserve was very big over 100 thousand acres, and the animals roamed freely, our Safari took place twice a day,it started early at 6 am every morning and 4:30pm every afternoon and it went for three hours straight, each time.

Ich blieb dort für 4 Nächte, die Lodge in der ich wohnte, war sagenhaft, es war ein wunderschönes Gebäude mit eigenem Schwimmbad, hier begann die Reise meines Lebens,das Reservat war sehr groß, über 100,000 Morgen, und die Tiere liefen frei herum, unser Safari fand zweimal täglich statt, sie begann jeden Morgen um 6.00 Uhr und jeden Nachmittag um 16.30 Uhr und dauerte drei stunden jedes mal.

Every day we saw different wild animals, like Lions, African Water Buffalo, Zebras, Impalas, Giraffes, Rhinoceros, Hippopotamus and Elephants in their natural habitat.

Jeden Tag sahen wir verschiedene Wilde Tiere, Löwen,Afrikanische Wasserbüffel,Zebras,Impalas,Giraffen,Nashörner, Nilpferd und Elephanten in ihrem natürlichen Lebensraum.

At night we would have a great Buffet Dinner.

Abends gab es ein tolles Abedbuffet.

There where animals, like monkeys just roaming around near the Lodges, and my last morning at the Lodge, when I had breakfast outside, I had company, these little monkeys where roaming all over outside of the breakfast area.

Es gab Tiere, wie zum Beispiel Affen, die einfach um die Lodges herumstehen, und an meinen letzten Morgen in der Lodge, als ich draußen frühstücken hatte ich Gesellschaft, diese kleinen Affen, die außerhalb des Frühstücksbereichs herumstreunten.

That morning I was on another Air Link plane to Zambia, while in Zambia, we travelled by private car into Zimbabwe .I stayed at a Lodge there for 2 nights, and had a private view of the Victoria Falls, which was amazing,.

An diesen Morgen war ich in einen anderen Airlink-flug nach Sambia Von dort aus reisten wir im Privatwagen nach Simbabwe. Ich übernachtete zwei Nächte in einer Lodge und hatte einen privaten Blick auf die Victoriafälle, der unglaublich war.

It is said that Victoria Falls was discovered by Dr. Livingstone, the Scottish Physician and Missionary and he actually died in Zambia. Dr. Livingstone always said that his heart belonged to Africa, so he wanted his heart to be buried in Zambia and his body back in Scotland, that is how the legent goes. But the locals say that Victoria Falls was discovered centuries before by the local people before Dr. Livingstone arrived in Africa.

Victoria Falls is 2.8 km long, 1.8 km is in Zimbabwe and 1 km is in Zambia, and 170 metres high.I believe it is the largest Falls in the world. While in Zimbabwe I also travelled on the Zambezi River for a few hours, and saw crocodiles , and many different fish in the river.

In all,this trip was 12 amazing days and I would do it all over again.

I have to add, this trip was totally organized by my Travel Agent, Brenda I went to the Agent and said, organize me a Safari trip for January 2025, and I must say that she did an awesome job.

This was basically a private tour, I had no other people with me on my tour, so I was easily taking to the locals, which I really enjoyed, all of my Lodging, Food and Transportation, as well as interior Africa flights where already taken care by the agent, and paid for before I left. I had no clue of where exactly I was going to go,that's what made it so exciting, I left it all to the Travel Agent, actually, I booked this Trip in a short timeframe.

The only flights that I booked myself were from Toronto to Munich and Cape Town, and return from Johannesburg to Frankfurt to Toronto.

The food was amazing, since I am a vegetarian flex, they accommodated me fully.

Es wird gesagt, das die Victoriafälle von Dr. Livingstone entdeckt wurde,ein Schottischen Artzt und Missioner,der sich in Sambia aufhielt.Dr. Livingstone sagte immer sein Herz gehöre Afrika, deshalb wollte er ,dass sein Herz in Sambia begraben wird und sein Körper in Schottland, so zu mindestens die Geschichten. Die Einheimischen sagen jedoch,dass die Victoriafälle Jahunderte vor Dr. Livingstone Ankunft in Afrika entdeckt wurden.

Die Victoriafälle sind 2.8 km lang 1.8km liegen in Simbabwe und 1km in Sambia, und die Fälle sind 170meter tief.Ich bin auch einige Stunden auf den Sambesi Fluss gereist und habe Krokodile und viele verschiedene Fische im Fluss gesehen. Insgesamt waren das 12 fantastische Tage auf dieser Reise, und ich würde sie jederzeit wieder machen.

Ich muss hinzufügen . Dass diese Reise vollständig von meiner Reiseagentin Brenda organisiert wurde. Ich ging zur Agentin und bat sie, mir eine Safari für Januar 2025 zu organisieren, und ich muss sagen, dass sie einen großartigen Job gemacht hat,Das war im Grunde eine privat Tour, ich hatte keine andere Leute mit auf meiner Tour,also konnte ich mich problemlos mit den Einheimischen unterhalten, was mir sehr gefallen hat.

Meine gesamte Unterkunft, Verpflegung und der Transport so wie die Flüge innerhalb Afrikas waren bereits von meiner Agentin organisiert und vor meiner Abreise bezahlt worden. Ich hatte keine Ahnung, wohin ich genau gehen würde, dafür war es so spannend.,Ich überließ alles der Reiseagentin. Tatsächlich buchte ich diese Reise in kürzen Zeitrahmen.

Die einzigen Flüge, die ich selbst buchte, waren von Toronto nach München und Kapstadt und zurück von Johannesburg nach Frankfurt nach Toronto. Das Essen war Fantastisch, da ich Vegetaria Flex bin, sind sie voll und ganz auf mich eingegangen.
